March 2018 – Dannielle Tapley, DSP Life Skills
Dannielle has been with The Arc for over five years. She works as Direct Support staff in our Life Skills department. Danni was nominated by Tifani Burns, Life Skills Director who said, “Danni is creative and helps plan activities. She is very knowledgeable and helps the people we serve become more independent. She is always willing to help others in need and often volunteers with our local Special Olympics.”

What brought you to The Arc of Gibson County?
I came to The Arc for a job because I was looking to help other succeed in life.
What do you like most about your job?
My favorite part of my job is that every day is a different adventure.

What’s one thing not many people know about you?
I love autobiographies.
What’s your favorite thing about work at The Arc of Gibson County?
I could be having a rough morning before coming into work, but as soon as I’m here I can’t help but smile.

What’s your favorite memory from The Arc of Gibson County?
My favorite memory is when we had a Christmas Dance Party at the work center and all the consumers loved it.
