JB – I am the Living Options Manager

What brought you to The Arc of Gibson County?
JB – My desire to help care for others
LB – I was looking for a rewarding job
What do you like most about your job?
JB – I really enjoy knowing that I am able to make a difference in their lives
LB – Watching the consumers achieve their goals and the joy they experience with activities.
Who’s your role model?
JB -My pastor’s wife
LB – My Mom & Dad
What’s one thing not many people know about you?
JB – I don’t watch television
LB – I like listening to Kenny Rogers music.
What’s your favorite thing about working at The Arc of Gibson County?
JB – Being able to see our consumers achieve their goals.

What’s your favorite memory from The Arc of Gibson County?
JB – During our movie nights I always enjoy watching the consumers have a good time and laugh.
LB – I always enjoying planning weekend trips and taking all the consumers different places that they enjoy. It is priceless.
An advice for current / new staff?
JB – Remember, Our job is to help our consumers achieve the most they can for themselves. Always look for opportunities to teach your consumers something. It’s as simple as asking what you do when you come to a stop light to helping them count change, there is always an opportunity to learn.
LB – Always come in with a positive attitude in all situations. Be respectful, and enjoy the accomplishments you help the consumers achieve.
